HM1 Austin Ray Hensley served with 3rd Battalion, 3rd Regiment, 3rd Marine Division
in Dong Ha, Quang Tri Province Vietnam in late 1967 and early 1968 with H&S Company.

We recently discovered his passing earlier this year while researching the
9,400 names of men who served with 3/3/3 between May 1965 and October 1969.
We are in touch with 5,150+ of our 3/3/3 alumni. We have accounted for 1,200 men
who have made final muster since returning home. We honor 650 others who fell
in combat either on our watch or during subsequent tours with other units.

Five hospital corpsmen were killed or wounded in my company, Mike 3/3/3,
in December 1966.
